Pismo Beach, CA -- Sharks are being spotted up and down the Central Coast.Cal Fire is reporting a third shark sighting in as many days. The latest sighting occurred at 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon in Cayucos. A 10-foot-long shark was seen eating a seal about 100 yards offshore the Old Creek Beach. Two separate shark sightings occurred in Shell Beach over the weekend. A large gray shark, about12 feet long, was reported on Saturday and again on Sunday. Saturday’s sighting was reported at Ocean Boulevard and Sunday’s sighting was reported at the Dolphin Bay hotel.
Officials consider these to be credible sightings and warning signs have been posted for three days at Shell Beach, Pismo Beach and Cayucos.
