San Luis Obispo, CA -- PastorDoug.jpg" />Pastor Doug Carroll, who has been battling progressive MS for more than ten years, succumbed to the disease early this morning. Carroll was known for lobbying for MS patients in Sacramento and Washington, D.C., and played a major role in organizing local MS fundraising events. The last rally for Pastor Doug was held just last Friday at Spencer’s Fresh market in Arroyo Grande at a pancake breakfast which raised $4000 for his increasing medical expenses. His good friend Dave Congalton of KVEC was notified of Doug’s passing this morning by his wife Victoria. Memorial services are pending.
