Santa Maria, CA -- Santa Maria police are investigating a brutal stabbing and beating that left a 22-year-old man in critical condition. Police say 15-20 people were fighting in the 700 block of N. Elizabeth just before midnight, Saturday. When police arrived on the scene, they found a man who had been beaten with a baseball bat and stabbed multiple times. He was taken to Marian Medical Center where he underwent surgery, and is currently listed in critical condition. Police are looking for three suspects.
