Oceano, CA -- The owner of Efren's Deli in Oceano says a fire at its restaurant caused thousands of dollars in damage yesterday morning. The owner told KSBY that the deli will remain closed until at least Friday. In the meantime, a crew is cleaning up after the fire. Reportedly hot towels in a plastic bag started the fire. They had apparently just been washed and dried. The towels were immediately placed in the bag, while they were still hot, and eventually caught fire.
