San Luis Obispo, CA -- A repaving project on a nine-mile stretch of Highway 101 near Pismo Beach started Sunday night. The work will stretch from the Los Berros Road undercrossing to the Pismo Creek Bridge. Motorists should expect lane and ramp closures from Sunday night to Friday morning. Delays should not exceed 10 minutes. The contract for the $6.7 million project went to Cal Portland Construction out of Santa Maria.Caltrans will be shutting down one lane of Madonna Road in San Luis Obispo for a few days this week for roadwork. The project includes the removal of three monitoring wells. The far right westbound lane of Madonna Road will be closed tomorrow through Thursday from 9 till 3 o’clock. Caltrans says the on and off ramps to Highway 101 will remain open, and that drivers can expect delays not to exceed ten minutes.
