Cambria, CA -- Someone saw a shark in the waters off the Cambria coast Sunday. The sighting happened at about 3 o’clock, 50 yards off Leffingwell Landing. The shark was approximately 18 feet long and was grey in color. Shark postings will be put up from Cambria to San Simeon. Officials determined this to be a credible dangerous marine animal sighting. Beaches will however remain open.
