Sheriff's Detectives Serve Two Search Warrants for Narcotics

Oceano, CA -- Friday morning at about 7 o’clock Sheriff’s detectives served two search warrants in Oceano. The first search warrant was served at a residence on 20th Street. The search uncovered prescription medications packaged for sales and 25 marijuana plants. The suspects did not have a valid physician’s statements to possess or cultivate marijuana. Detectives also recovered a 12 gauge shotgun and a .22 caliber rifle.

Sheriff’s detectives arrested 52-year-old Timothy Robert Woodham, and 27-year-old Robert Kelly Woodham. Both men were charged with possession of prescription medications for sale, cultivation of marijuana and drug trafficking on or within 1000 feet of school grounds.

Sheriff’s Detectives were assisted with the searches by a police dog from the Atascadero State Hospital Police and investigators from the San Luis Obispo County Department of Planning and Building, who discovered numerous building code violations that rendered the suspect’s residence uninhabitable.

The second search warrant was served on 23rd street. During that search detectives arrested 59-year-old William Slane for possession of drug paraphernalia, providing false information to a peace officer and a felony warrant for violating the terms of his probation. Slane is currently on probation for possession of methamphetamine.
