West Nile Virus Finds Its Way to SLO County



San Luis Obispo, CA -- The West Nile Virus has made its way in to San Luis Obispo County. The first confirmed case was a bird found in Cambria. The bird was discovered on August 18 and picked up by San Luis Obispo County Animal Services. It was then shipped to a lab in Richmond, California for testing. Tests came back positive for the virus yesterday morning.
