San Luis Obispo, CA -- Eight law enforcement agencies conducted a probation sweep on the North Coast on Tuesday night that resulted in 20 arrests. The operation involved 60 people and targeted 41 individuals on parole or probation. Authorities showed up at the homes of parolees and probationers to check on whether they were obeying the terms of their release. Others who were not on probation or parole were arrested when officers believed they were breaking the law. Child Protective Services got involved in two cases because parents had endangered their children.
