Suspicious Package at Post Office Elicits Bomb Squad

San Luis Obispo, CA -- A suspicious package at a post office in Atascadero yesterday evening turned out to be non-threatening. The Atascadero Police Department received a report around 5:30 of a paper bag tied together by a piece of rope, left on one of the post office tables. As a precaution the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Bomb Squad was called in. The package was x-rayed and determined "non-threatening.”
