San Luis Obispo, CA -- A Morro Bay man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of forcibly raping a woman at a park in Cambria earlier this month. The Sheriff’s Department Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement unit interviewed and arrested 45-year-old Hans Steinmann. The alleged rape happened around 10 o’clock in the evening of Friday August 5 at Shamel Park in Cambria. Reportedly Steinmann and the victim were acquaintances. Steinmann has been booked into SLO County Jail on rape charges.
