Arroyo Grande, CA -- A 41-year-old drowned at Lake Nacimiento yesterday. The man was found in a cove in the Heritage Ranch area yesterday afternoon just before 3 o’clock. Bystanders attempted to resuscitate him, but an off-duty Arroyo Grande Police Department officer at the lake told emergency responders that the man had died. He was taken to Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton, where he was pronounced dead. No further details have yet been released. This latest drowning follows two others this summer at Nacimiento. Search and rescue and dive team volunteers found the body of a 22-year-old Oxnard man on July 31 and a 4-year-old girl from Greenfield drowned on July 3.
