San Luis Obispo, CA -- Two teenagers were arrested Friday morning after allegedly trying to break into a San Luis Obispo home. Around 10:45, a resident called San Luis Obispo police saying two males were trying to get into the front door of a home on Los Cerros Street. Reportedly, the caller said the males went into the backyard, that’s when the caller heard glass breaking. An officer arrived at the scene a short time later, and the suspects ran away. The resident who had called police was able to give officers a detailed description of the men and the direction they ran. Officers searching the area found the suspects, 18-year-old Bronson Gonzalez and 19-year-old Darniel Tinoco both of San Luis Obispo, hiding behind a nearby church. Gonzalez and Tinoco were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and conspiracy and booked into County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
