Radio Station Receptionist:
El Dorado Broadcasters is looking for a front office receptionist for their San Luis Obispo radio stations. We are looking for someone hardworking, with strong organizational skills, and attention to detail; a fun outgoing personality who is excited to work in a fun ever changing environment. Great communication and a positive attitude is a must as one primary duty will be greeting listeners, clients, show guests and visitors.
In addition, you will be answering and directing all incoming calls, and providing information to listeners regarding commercials, news stories, and station events. Strong computer fluency, especially a familiarity with Microsoft Office, is necessary. Many tasks will require a comfort with computers, including daily electronic bank deposits, posting deposits to AR, and assisting in the processing of programming affidavits.
- One year previous receptionist experience preferable.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proficiency in English a must and Spanish a plus.
- Hourly rate starting between $10-$12 DOE.
- About 35 hours per week.

Radio Show Producer
KVEC-AM has on opening for a part time producer/call screener/production assistant. The qualified candidate will have at least one year of radio broadcasting experience, preferably in the live talk radio format. Experience with call screening systems, running a control board, Nexgen automation or other automation is a must. Must have the ability to do live traffic and weather reports, as well as the ability to record, edit and load podcasts, best of shows, and other audio as required. This position is 25 hours per week, regular. Computer literacy and the ability to multi-task is highly desirable.

Applicant must have Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college. Six months to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
