San Luis Obispo, CA -- The Official Ballots and Voter Information Guide for the San Luis Obispo City Special Election were mailed yesterday. If you registered by Thursday July 28, you should receive your ballot tomorrow. If you don’t, contact the Clerk-Recorder to check on you ballot. If you missed the registration deadline for the initial mailing, you can register to vote in the election until Monday, August 15 and still receive a ballot. Affidavits of registration are available throughout San Luis Obispo County, including at post offices, city halls, libraries, and banks. If you can’t find an Affidavit of Registration, call the Election's Division of the County Clerk-Recorder's office at 781-5228 or 1-800-834-4636 ext 5228. Registration forms are also available on the Secretary of State’s website: www.sos.ca.gov.
