San Luis Obispo, CA -- A local man is recovering from injuries he suffered after being hit by a suspected drunk driver in San Luis Obispo yesterday afternoon. It happened on Cerro Romauldo Avenue around 4 o’clock. Reportedly a man was loading something into a parked vehicle when he was hit by 29-year-old Jeffrey Stein of San Luis Obispo, who was driving a Toyota Tacoma. Witnesses say the victim was dragged a short distance before Stein stopped. Stein was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI. The victim is expected to be fine.
