San Luis Obispo, CA -- An accidental blaze in the kitchen of a mobile home in San Luis Obispo on Saturday caused $100,000 in damage. Firefighters responded to the mobile home on South Higuera Street around 3 o’clock to find heavy smoke coming from the kitchen.

The resident of the mobile home, her granddaughter and four great-grandchildren all escaped after the granddaughter noticed the fire. The fire was confined to the kitchen and living room, but the damage made the mobile home uninhabitable. No injuries were reported.
