San Luis Obispo, CA -- .Michael Youngblood, the Salinas man who pleaded no contest to charges stemming from an assault on a local deputy is set to be sentenced today. Prosecutors say on Memorial Day weekend of 2010, he caused a disturbance at Lake Nacimiento campground. When deputies responded, they say Youngblood jumped into a truck and ran over Deputy Nate Paul. Youngblood has agreed to serve six years in prison. A judge is expected to make that final at today’s court appearance.
