San Luis Obispo, CA -- The Department of Fish and Game says the black bear that's been roaming around San Luis Obispo has become enough of a danger that if caught, it will be euthanized. Fish and Game officials say a permit was signed by a resident on Andrews Street to say the bear has been a threat to his home the past three days. Fish and Game biologist Bob Stafford says the permit means, by law, the bear must be euthanized. When one woman suggested the bear be captured and released into the wild miles away. Stafford said “we could move the bear to anywhere in San Luis Obispo County, and it would likely be back in a week”
