San Luis Obispo, CA -- A marauding black bear has killed another chicken in the neighborhood near San Luis Obispo High School. The bear was spotted at about 10 o’clock Sunday night on San Luis Drive. The homeowner who lost the chicken called the police who kept the bear under observation until it left the area. This is the third time a bear had killed and eaten a chicken in the area and the fourth time a bear was spotted since June 15. Department of Fish and Game biologists say it is very likely that the same bear was involved in all the incidents.
