Four Teens Arrested For Stealing Booze
Four Atascadero teens were arrested Wednesday evening after they allegedly stole beer and liquor worth about $125 from the Cookie Crock Market in Cambria. All were arrested on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy. One teen was not allowed bail the other three were being held in lieu of $20,000 bail. According to the Sheriff’s Department, the teens entered the market on Knollwood Drive about 6:15 in the evening and loitered around the liquor department. Police say they grabbed beer and liquor, ran out the front door and got into a green 1989 Chevrolet truck. Detectives and patrol deputies spotted the truck after its description was broadcast, stopping it on Highway 1 near Villa Creek Road. The property was then returned to the market.
