Arroyo Grande, CA -- The Arroyo Grande Police Department announced that one of its officers has been involved in a traffic collision on Monday night. The incident reportedly occurred at the intersection of West Branch Street and Wesley Street in Arroyo Grande just before 9:00 p.m. Monday night. The officer allegedly was making a left turn when he hit the 21-year-old pedestrian crossing the street. The victim refused medical treatment, and the officer was uninjured. Neither the identity of the pedestrian or the officer have been released. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
