Oceano, CA -- Oceano's Community Services District general manager Raffaelle Montemurro has been let go. This comes after board members met in a closed-door meeting for almost four hours, last night. According to board member Mary Lucey, it was a unanimous vote 5-0. Montemurro was immediately released from duty. Montemurro paid a district water bill more than four months late, and he failed to follow instructions in turning in documents for financial audits. Two board members resigned in March over their frustration with Montumurro. The board will make public comments either Wednesday or Thursday.
