Southern California Edison says there's no threat from two new problems at the idled San Onofre nuclear power plant south of San Clemente. The "Orange County Register" reports coolant was found in a diesel generator's oil system.
There's also a record-keeping error dating back to 1985, in which a low-level radioactive waste storage yard is not listed in safety reports. Nuclear Regulatory Commission spokesman Victor Dricks says the yard itself is fine.
Edison wants to restart one of San Onofre's two units at reduced power.
