Man Arrested After Shots Fired In Templeton

Sunday at 1230, deputies from the Sheriff's Templeton Patrol Station responded to 29 El Pomar Drive on a report of shots fired, possible assault with a deadly weapon.  Deputies set up a perimeter whereupon the suspect was contacted by phone and subsequently convinced to surrender.

The suspect, 44-year-old William Powell, was arrested on a weapons violation and the assault with a deadly weapon violation is pending further investigation.
