Hometown Heroes with Paul Loeffler

PL picSaturdays 2pm – 3pm

Hometown Heroes shines a spotlight on history through the voices of those who lived it, those who fought on the frontlines of freedom. With a different veteran featured each week, primarily from the World War II generation, the show is a free-flowing journey back in time, preserving first-hand accounts of service and sacrifice.

Paul Loeffler is an award-winning broadcast journalist who has been interviewing World War II veterans on a weekly basis since 2005. The radio voice of Fresno State football, basketball, and baseball, Paul began his work with veterans during the decade he spent in local television. His annual TV adventure now is the Scripps National Spelling Bee on ESPN, which he has announced since 2006. Paul lives in Fresno, CA with his wife and two daughters.
