Highway 101 On Ramp To Be Closed For Construction

A project to construct a median barrier along a five-mile section of U.S. Highway 101 from Los Berros Road to Fair Oaks Avenue will resume on Sunday night Dec. 16 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. with work on the bridge rails at Bridge Street, Arroyo Grande Creek and the Highway 101 Interchange at Brisco Road.

There will be a full closure of Highway 101 southbound on-ramp at Grand Avenue for three weeks beginning Sunday December 16 until Sunday, January 6.  This closure will occur during the winter break for Arroyo Grande High School.

Motorists may detour by using the southbound Highway 101 on-ramps at Halcyon Road or Traffic Way.

Motorists can expect minor delays during the overnight work.
