Gas Prices On The Rise Again

Governor Gavin Newsom has requested an early release of winter-blend fuel, hoping to slow record high gas prices being felt statewide. According to Triple-A, the national average is 3.83 a gallon for regular. California’s average is 6.42 a gallon. Central Coast residents are paying near or record prices for gas. San Luis Obispo County is averaging 6.62 a gallon. Santa Barbara County is in record territory at 6.38 a gallon. Experts hope that as the winter-blend is distributed, prices will begin to drop.
