Gas prices across the country may have reached the lowest since March to a national average of 3.83 a gallon, but Californians are still paying the most for a gallon of regular. According to Triple-A, the average price for regular is 5.26 a gallon. In San Luis Obispo County it’s 5.64, and 5.40 a gallon in Santa Barbara County.
