San Luis Obispo, CA — Two major happenings occurred at the SLO County Board of Supervisor’s meeting yesterday. One, an entrance fee for Montana De Oro State Park was discussed, in order to keep the park open. Currently Montana De Oro's coastal development permit doesn't allow the parks to charge entrance fees. So before it can move forward, the board will again have to meet to approve changes to that permit.
In the other matter, Supervisors voted to not conduct high energy seismic testing off the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant. The board felt that some of their conditions haven’t been met.
