Driver Hits Two Parked Cars; Arrested for DUI

San Luis Obispo Police received a call reporting a collision in the 100 block of N. Tassajara Friday just before midnight. Responding police personnel located a 2004 Cadillac SUV unoccupied with damage to the front end. The occupants of the vehicle fled the scene on foot and fresh blood was located in and around the vehicle. The investigating officer located the driver and passenger nearby. The passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated and released from the hospital. Officer's located two parked vehicles that were struck by 21-year-old Nicolas Martinez from San Luis Obispo.
 
The investigation revealed that Martinez was driving under the influence of alcohol, when the collision occurred. Martinez was arrested for felony DUI causing injures and felony hit and run. He was transported to SLO County Jail where he was booked. His bail was set at $100,000.00.
