The County Clerk's Office has announced that it will be open for extended hours Thursday, Saturday and Sunday to help voters who may not be able to get to a polling place on Election Day.
The County Government Center office, in downtown San Luis Obispo, will be open until 6 p.m. Thursday. On Saturday and Sunday it will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
"Voters can either use this opportunity to request a vote-by-mail ballot or return their already voted ballot," said County Clerk Julie Rodewald in a news release.
