Central Coast Man Wanted For Attempted Murder Still On The Run

Grover Beach, CA — The attempted murder investigation involving the shooting of a woman last Saturday on the 800 block of Mentone Ave. in Grover Beach has identified the suspected shooter as William Roger Forgey, formerly of Roseville, CA.   Forgey was last known to be driving a silver colored 2002 Toyota 4 Runner.  Forgey is currently not in custody and should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS.  An arrest warrant for Forgey has been issued by the San Luis Obispo Superior Court.  Forgey is known to frequent the Central Coast, Los Angeles and Sacramento areas.  Forgey has a very distinctive birthmark on the left side of his face and neck.  

The shooting occurred during a domestic violence argument so the victim’s identity will not be released. The victim is being treated for multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen, but is expected to make a full recovery.  No other persons were injured during the crime.
