Power outage causes Highway 101 to be closed

The northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 101 in Arroyo Grande had to be closed down last night after a vehicle knocked over a power pole. Arroyo Grande Police say the driver in the accident was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. PG&E says power was knocked out to more than 5,300 customers.   Read More »

Children’s Resource Network Receives Contribution From PG&E

The Children’s Resource Network of the Central Coast  announced it received a $25,000 contribution from Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E). Man Accused Of Robbing Bank Of America Pleads Not Guilty

Yesterday 38-year-old Andrew Gilbertson, the man accused of robbing the Bank of America in San Luis Obispo last July entered pleas of not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity.
