CAL Fire Firefighters Get Promotions

Some CAL FIRE firefighters in San Luis Obispo have new titles. Ten were promoted and the agency held a badge pinning ceremony yesterday. Another power outage in SLO County…the third in a week. Last week, several thousand customers in Arroyo Grande and Pismo beach lost power. Last Monday morning, several thousand in SLO lost power. Suspect Identified In Officer Involved Shooting

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office is releasing the name of the suspect from the officer involved shooting which occurred on Sunday night, October 6, in the 3200 block of Beach Club Road near Carpinteria.  The suspect is 29 year old Jeremy Leon Bordegaray of Cayucos in San Luis Obispo County.  Bordegaray remains in critical condition at a local hospital. ... Woman Sentenced To Prison After Hitting Two Cyclists, Killing One

The woman who hit two cyclists on Labor Day of this year, killing one and injuring the other, was sentenced yesterday.
