Abandoned Panga Boat Discovered

  Yesterday, a State Parks Ranger was driving on Highway One when the Ranger noticed a break in the fence line about four miles north of the Piedras Blancas Lighthouse. Settlement Agreement Has Been Reached to Eliminate Billboards

Hearst Castle Tries to Cut Water Consumption by Closing Restrooms

  Hearst Castle, in an effort to cut water consumption because of the drought, are closing their restrooms July 7. Thirty eight portable toilets will be installed at the Visitor Center, along with six hand sanitizer stations.
