The San Miguelito vegetation fire has burned about 832 acres and caused $862,000 in damage since it started at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon on San Miguelito Canyon Road in Lompoc. San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a bear last seen near Nipomo Regional Park. The bear, which according to KSBY is described as a large, chocolate-covered black bear, was first seen Wednesday morning near Tejas Place. An Arroyo Grande drug raid led to the arrests of eight people last Thursday at around 7 a.m. on Sunset Drive. Police found heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, and cash at the Arroyo Grande home.
