Dunkin Donuts Coming to Central Coast

Dunkin Donuts is opening on the Central Coast. New franchise owns plan to open five Dunkin’ Donuts outlets on the Central Coast. The first will open by the end of the year in Santa Maria. Owners Glen and Kirsten Tharp have secured a space in Santa Maria.  They say they’ll hire about two dozen employees at each store.

An overnight highway resurfacing project in San Luis Obispo is underway on 101 between Ontario Road and Reservoir Canyon Road. The overnight construction is expected to be completed in May. Cal Poly Strike Postponed

Next week’s scheduled faculty walk-out at Cal Poly and other CSU campuses postponed after faculty and university officials reach a tentative salary agreement. The deal will not be disclosed until later today. The four-day walk-out was scheduled before and after Cal Poly’s open house.
