Stabbing Incident Leaves Two Injured

A stabbing domestic incident in Santa Maria police occurred last night a little after five. Thirty-year-old Oscar Nicasio stabbed a woman then stabbed himself on W Taft. Both were sent to a local hospital. The woman was released, as she only had minor injuries. Nicasio will be sent to county jail as soon as he is released from the hospital. Read More »

An unidentified white male adult smashed a window and stole a purse and black Gucci briefcase in a parked car in the Grover Beach 7 Eleven parking lot on Grand Avenue. Transient In Custody After Allegedly Starting Fire In Backyard Of Residence

A Cuyama transient is in custody after allegedly starting a fire in the backyard of a residence and assaulting one of the homeowners.  Sixty-two-year-old Stephen Howland was arrested last Tuesday and charged with numerous felonies, including arson and assault with deadly weapon.
