Carlyn Christianson Wins SLO Council Seat In Special Election


San Luis Obispo has a new city council member.  In a special election by mail yesterday, Carlyn Christianson received 4,138 votes, or 48 percent of the vote. Abandoned Panga Boat Found At Tajiguas Beach

Alleged Murderer To Be Arraigned Today


Mark Alan Andrews of Atascadero, charged in the shooting death of 52-year-old Colleen Maria Barga-Millbury last month, is expected to be arraigned today. Police believe they found the murder weapons at his home, which was searched. Police say the 49-year-old Andrews suffers from mental health issues, but they do not know if that played a role in the homicide.
