Driver Arrested For DUI After Hitting Tree


San Luis Obispo Police and Fire Departments received a 911 call reporting a single vehicle collision into a tree at the intersection of Johnson and Orcutt on April 20 at 1:15 p.m.  Responding Police and Fire personnel located a 2011 Volkswagen resting on the sidewalk after it sheered a tree. Prosecutors May Seek Death Penalty In Ibarra Murder Case


Officials with the Santa Barbara County District Attorney's Office say they may seek the death penalty for a majority of the people involved in the murder of Anthony Ibarra.

Caltrans Details Major Efforts To Fight Climate Change


Yesterday, Caltrans released a report detailing its efforts to fight climate change.  Caltrans will curb greenhouse gas emissions and use new technology such as low-energy cement and LED lighting.
