White Fire 90% Contained

Officials say the White Fire in the Los Padres National Forest just north of Santa Barbara is 90-percent contained. It started this past Monday afternoon and burned 1,984 acres in two days. Explosion In Restaurant Kitchen Leaves Cook In Hospital

A cook at Mo’s Smokehouse Barbeque restaurant in San Luis Obispo has serious injuries after a kitchen explosion.  It happened at about 6 p.m. yesterday at the restaurant on Monterey Street. Deputies Arrest Suspected Drug Smugglers At Traffic Stop On Los Osos Valley Road

One man is in San Luis Obispo County Jail for possession of drugs and attempting to burglarize a vehicle in Paso Robles. Amtrak Bike Reservation Now Free Of Charge

Amtrak California passengers can now reserve onboard bike rack space on Saturday when booking travel on Pacific Surfliner trains, free of charge.
