USPS Internet Scam


Another internet scam is being reported, this one from the US Postal Service. Officials there say customers have been receiving bogus emails, claiming to be from the post office, about a package delivery or online postage charges. The emails contain a link or attachment that can install a virus on your computer if opened. Don’t open it.

There will be no new rock quarry in Santa Margarita. Supervisors voted down the Las Politas project yesterday. The supervisors followed the lead of the planning commission which said the controversial project would create too much traffic, noise, and safety concerns, among other issues.
