Dorm Fire Caused By Faulty Electrical Outlet

That dorm room fire at Cal Poly Sunday was caused not by an illegal hotplate but a faulty electrical outlet. An electrician reset a breaker that had shorted and the resulting surge overloaded an electrical outlet. Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant Must Reduce Its Environmental Impact By 93%

Sheriff’s Arrest Man For Selling Drugs And Possessing Illegal Weapons

Fake Bomb Causes Evacuation at Cayucos Pier

Yesterday morning, a San Luis Obispo County Deputy was flagged down by a person who had discovered what looked to be an explosive device underneath a picnic table on the Cayucos Pier. Truck Destroys Business Front in Burglary

On October 30 at approximately 5:00 a.m., officers responded to the report of a burglary in progress at the California Coin & Stamp at 253 Granda.
