Traffic on the 101 South at Highway 58 was backed up after 4 vehicles were involved in a collision. The accident happened around 7:45 this morning. Emergency Drill To Take Place Today At Diablo Canyon

Branch Fire Fully Contained


According to the US Forest Service, the Branch Fire is 100% contained.   The fire started on Saturday in California Valley.  It burned 486 acres in the Los Padres National Forest.   The rural location of the fire and difficult terrain made it quite a challenge to contain.

NASA To Launch Sun-Monitoring Satellite From VAFB


The latest sun-monitoring satellite from NASA is scheduled to launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base on June 26th.
