Driver Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI Hit And Run


There was a DUI involved hit and run at Tefft and Mary streets in Nipomo Thursday. 48-year-old Gerardo Avalos was intoxicated and ran thru a red light at the intersection, hitting a Cadillac driven by 88-year-old Betty Davies. Three Arroyo Grande Stores Caught Selling Tobacco To Minor

Crash in Buellton Leaves Five People Injured


Five people are injured after a head-on crash on Highway 246 in Buellton. Two vehicles collided yesterday at about 1:25 PM in “Buellton Flats.” The Santa Barbara County Fire Department says one person suffered serious injuries, one person had moderate injuries and three people had minor injuries. Emergency Crews Make Water Rescue Near Gaviota Pier


The Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to a water rescue yesterday morning.
