Two Former College Basketball Players Plead Not Guilty to Murder


Ali Mohammed, 19, and Lavell White, 22, two former Allan Hancock College basketball players charged in the killing of a Santa Maria man Dec. 30 have pleaded not guilty to murder and robbery charges. Both are accused of shooting 23-year-old Terrance Richardson near the college. They’re due back in court February 23.
