Early Warning System Upgrade

Toady  PG&E will begin upgrading the Early Warning System. They will be replacing components on each of the 131 sirens throughout San Luis Obispo county. Great White Shark Sighting at Leadbetter Beach

The Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol has shut down Leadbetter Beach because of a Great White shark sighting. The harbor patrol says they received a report of a shark sighting at about 10:30 yesterday morning and shut the beach down shortly after. A Paso Robles city employee has been sentenced to 20 days in jail. Charles Lorenzen, the former building, parks and streets supervisor of Paso Robles, was arrested on May 27 on charges of embezzling thousands of dollars from the city.
