Atascadero Police and Fire Departments will be conducting active shooter training exercises this week at Atascadero High School. The training is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 2, and Friday, April 5. Meanwhile, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office will be holding an active shooter seminar at the Solvang Veterans Hall off Mission Drive beginning at 5:30 this evening. Attendees will receive tips on how to protect yourself and others in the event of an active shooter.
