Posted: Wednesday, 30 July 2008 8:12AM Woman in Jail After Assaulting Fisherman A young woman is in jail after she assaulted a fisherman after a verbal dispute. On July 18th around 8:20, officers were dispatched to the Pismo Pier after receiving a report that a woman had slashed a fisherman with a knife. 18 year old Leah Royal of Oceano matched the description of the suspect. Royal was arrested and booked into County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon.
