The young woman who died after being run over by a car, may have passed out while walking across the street. Early Monday morning, San Luis Obispo Police and Fire Departments arrived at Santa Rosa Street and Foothill Boulevard to find 21 year old Tanya Moore had been hit by a car. The driver of the car, 23 year old Frederick Gonzalez was not cited or arrested. He told investigators that he did not see Moore in the road and was unable to swerve in time. According to The Tribune, Moore was taken to Sierra Vista Medical Center where she was just treated for pneumonia. Moore’s relatives said that the medication she was on probably made her feel faint. Moore died of her injuries less than three hours later. After investigating the incident, police officers and Moore’s family believe it was an “unfortunate accident.” |
